“circuits” is a representation of the architecture of information and its means of transport. Inspired by geological properties, Microelectromechanical systems, and circuit designs.
“functor” is an ongoing series imbuing levity via architectural rhythym into heavy, industrial materials. Using consistent rectilnearity across the series, these pieces engage the user by creating three dimensional “circuitry” that the viewer cannot comprehend until viewing the entire piece.
materials: concrete, brass, aluminum
"ennio" is a series that explores bending light by bending materials. Made by lasercutting geometries into acrylic and bending them using a hand-built acrylic bender, they are meant to engage the viewers sense of pure form, and engage in a constantly changing perspective as one moves around the sculptures themselves.
The work will be released as a series of functional lamps, and a series of prints.
Will be released in 2017.
Osiris was a commissioned sculpture built for Solstice Festival in PanAm Park, Austin TX.

20' Cargo Container, Steel, Oak, Birch
This container bar (sans branding) was commissioned by a global Beer producing company. It was an exploration of a novelty architectural process, while solving unique structural problems (the front patio was able to be wenched open & closed).
The project also included two custom rolling bars.
glassworks & rhizomatics
a series of work that explores deleuze & guatarri's concept of the rhizome as the principle understanding of subjectivity.
"A rhizome, on the other hand, is characterized by 'ceaselessly established connections between semiotic chains, organizations of power, and circumstances relative to the arts, sciences, and social struggles.' Rather than narrativize history and culture, the rhizome presents history and culture as a map or wide array of attractions and influences with no specific origin or genesis, for a 'rhizome has no beginning or end; it is always in the middle, between things, interbeing, intermezzo.' The planar movement of the rhizome resists chronology and organization, instead favoring a nomadic system of growth and propagation."
this._node [beta] is a social media visual experiment. by logging in with facebook, we are given a subset of your publically available information including posts, photos, likes, friends, etc.
by visualizing this data, we hope to provide the viewer with a sensation of interconnectivity and vulnerability, and a perspective on the architecture of acquaintance.
each colored line represents a different kind of relation: like, tag, friend, comment, with the density of "edges" affecting node proximity through magnetic models of repulsion & attraction.
this._node was on exhibit at DUE EAST and Chicon Collective
